Philarkophy

Philosophy, thought by thought.

About

I'm Ark. I'm 25, and I've promised myself I'll write every day. Even one line. Even a phrase. It counts.

I grew up in a house loud with books and quiet with people. My mother is a professor of English literature, and I don't remember a time before books; there wasn't one. As a kid, when a conversation was too hard to have, I didn't have it. I wrote a letter instead. Slid under a door for my parents, tucked inside a book for my friends. Paper was where I was fluent. It still is.

Philarkophy is what happened when philosophy collided with my own name, and with my refusal to stay in one lane. This space holds philosophy, mostly, self-taught for now. And the rest of the puzzle I'm trying to put together: living without a phone in a glowing world, looking for a career that fits, moving through the world neurodivergent, building a self worth the trouble.

The fuller introduction is in my first letter, The Symphony, about the urge to learn everything, and why the disciplines are one piece of music.

One line a day. Some of them will land here, slid under your door. If you'd like them delivered, subscribe to my newsletter, or find me on Instagram.
